Your journey starts with a drive from Marrakech to Imlil Valley (1740m), the gateway to the High Atlas Mountains. Here you’ll meet your local guide and start your trek. The trail winds past small villages and the Chamharouch shrine, where you’ll pause for lunch. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the Toubkal Refuge (3207m) and spend the night. Walking time: 5–6 hours.
After an early breakfast, begin your ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal. The climb takes around 3 hours and rewards you with sweeping views of the Atlas range and the distant Sahara. After enjoying the peak, descend back to the refuge for lunch and continue to Imlil. From there, a transfer takes you back to Marrakech. Walking time: 10–12 hours in total.
