8 Days Sahara Desert Trekking in Morocco involves walking through the vast dunes of southern Morocco with a professional nomadic guide and camel handlers. A caravan of camels carries your luggage, allowing you to focus on the journey.
You will experience the fascinating expanse of the desert, encounter nomads in unique ways, and observe the animal and plant life. This trek offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquility, completely disconnecting from civilization. The silence of the heart of the great Moroccan Sahara desert provides an unforgettable setting, with breathtakiunrises and sunsets that will stay with you forever.
During the trek, you live according to the rhythm of the sun, with each person moving at their own pace, accompanied by the camel handlers. Before each stage, they gather the camels, which have fed on desert shrubs during the night. They also collect firewood, prepare tea, and bake bread in the sand. You sleep under the stars, in traditional tents, which adds to the adventure and authenticity of the experience.
You will also taste delicious Moroccan cuisine, prepared by the camel handlers. Regular breaks punctuate your walk, giving you time to eat, drink, observe, and contemplate the desert landscape.
The 8-Day Sahara Desert Trekking in Morocco is available from mid-September to mid-May. During this time, moderate temperatures make the camel trek enjoyable and comfortable. We organize treks starting with just two participants, on the date of your choice. Whether you are looking for a short adventure or a longer journey, this trek offers an unforgettable experience
