Your journey begins with a visit to Taroudant, often called Little Marrakech, where you can explore lively souks and impressive ramparts. Continuing through Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, you’ll stop in Taznakht, renowned for its Berber carpets, before reaching the legendary Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous film location. Overnight in Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco.
From Ouarzazate, the adventure continues through the Oasis of Fint and the scenic Draa Valley, dotted with kasbahs and palm groves, before reaching Zagora. The third day takes you deeper into the desert via Tamegroute, where you can visit traditional pottery workshops and its ancient Quranic library, before heading off-road to the majestic Erg Chegaga dunes. Here, you’ll enjoy a camel trek at sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under a sky full of stars.
On the final day, the 4×4 crosses the Paris–Dakar piste and the dry Lake Iriqui before returning via Taznakht and Taroudant to Agadir.

Your driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Agadir. First stop in Taroudant, where you’ll explore the lively medina, traditional souks, impressive city walls, and the historic Palais Salam.
Continue towards Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, where lunch will be served near the ancient Kasbah of El Glaoui. In the afternoon, travel through Taznakht, famous for Berber carpets, before reaching the legendary Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and film set for many Hollywood movies.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast, visit the stunning Oasis of Fint, a hidden green paradise just outside Ouarzazate. Then continue towards Agdez and explore the historic Kasbah of Tamnougalt. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive along the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm valley dotted with kasbahs and villages, before arriving in Zagora.
Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse in Zagora.
After breakfast, head south to Tamegroute, where you will visit its famous pottery workshops and the ancient Quranic library. Continue to M’hamid, the gateway to the desert, where lunch will be served.
From here, your 4x4 adventure takes you across sand dunes, rocky desert (hamadas), and hidden oases until you reach the majestic Erg Chegaga dunes (over 300m high and 40km long). Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, followed by dinner, Sahrawi music, and overnight stay in a desert camp under the stars.
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Continue your desert crossing along the Paris-Dakar route and the dry Lake Iriqui before reaching Foum Zguid.
Lunch stop in Taznakht, then continue your drive through Taroudant before arriving back in Agadir by late afternoon.
