Morning departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate at 8:00 am. Drive through the palm groves and kasbahs of Skoura, then follow a scenic piste towards the Berber village of Bou-Thahrar. Visit the kasbah of Glaoui Ait-Youl in the Dadès Valley. After lunch, continue towards the dramatic Todra Gorge, where high cliffs and lush valleys create one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites. Dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel or guesthouse in Tinghir.
After breakfast, depart towards the desert through Tazarine and N’Kob, a picturesque Berber village. Stop for lunch in Zagora, then continue to Tamgroute to visit the ancient Quranic library, traditional pottery workshops, and mysterious underground streets. Arrive in M’Hamid, the last oasis before the Sahara. Enjoy a camel ride into the dunes, admire the sunset, and settle into your desert camp. Dinner and overnight under nomadic tents.
Wake up in the desert and enjoy breakfast. Begin with a one-hour camel ride, then head into the wilderness aboard a 4x4. Cross sand tracks, small dunes, and tamarisk groves before reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga, the wildest Sahara desert in Morocco. Lunch is served in the shade of palm trees or tamarisks. In the afternoon, arrive at your desert camp at the foot of the dunes. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Sahara, dinner, music around the campfire, and overnight in tents or under the starry sky.
After breakfast and sunrise over the dunes, depart by 4x4 through the Paris-Dakar rally track. Cross the dried Lake Iriqui and reach Foum Zguid for a short break. Continue through the Anti-Atlas mountains and stop for lunch in Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets. Arrive in Ouarzazate by late afternoon (around 17:30). End of the tour and transfer to your hotel.
