Join our 5 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech and explore Morocco’s most captivating landscapes and cultures. This tour blends scenic drives, desert adventure, and cultural discovery.
To begin with, your journey starts in Marrakech. From there, you will travel across the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and stop at traditional Berber villages.
Next, you’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. In fact, it has appeared in several major films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After that, continue on to Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”
On the second day, the tour heads into the Draa Valley. This region is especially known for its palm groves, mud-brick kasbahs, and ancient caravan routes. Soon, you’ll reach M’hamid, the last town before the open Sahara.
Then, the real desert experience begins. You will mount a camel and ride through the rolling dunes toward Erg Chigaga. Unlike the more crowded Erg Chebbi, Erg Chigaga is wild, remote, and untouched.
Later that evening, settle into a luxury desert camp surrounded by silence and stars. As a result, you’ll enjoy a magical night filled with Berber music and traditional Moroccan cuisine.
On the return journey, there will be more scenic stops and chances to interact with locals. In the end, this 5-day tour offers a perfect blend of culture, nature, and adventure.
