In the morning, you will be transferred from Marrakech to M’hamid. Your journey will take you along the Tiffernine mountains before entering the Saghro massif, which you will cross via the Tizi n’Tinififft pass. Next, you will arrive at the beautiful Drâa Valley, with its ksours (fortified villages) and kasbahs, which you will follow until you reach M’hamid. There, you will meet the team of camel handlers. Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac in the desert.
The trek begins as your caravan sets off towards Erg Bouzian. You will cross the Drâa River, moving through a landscape of sand and rocky plains dotted with tamarisk trees. In the distance, you will see the Lakrab mountains and the Hamada of the Drâa.
The caravan continues its journey towards Rass Errich, crossing untouched desert filled with acacia trees. You will arrive at the dunes in time to admire the sunset and spend the night there.
You will cross dunes and desert plateaus to reach the palm grove in M’hamid. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to take a shower. Dinner and overnight stay in the desert.
After breakfast, transfer back to Marrakech with a lunch stop along the way. Arrival in the afternoon.
