Embark on our 5 Days Toubkal Trek from Marrakech and experience one of the most rewarding adventures in Morocco. This journey through the High Atlas Mountains is designed for travelers who want to climb Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa, at a relaxed and enjoyable pace.
Your adventure begins in Marrakech, where you’ll drive to the picturesque Imlil Valley, a traditional Berber village surrounded by terraced fields and walnut groves. After meeting your local guide and mule team, you’ll enjoy a gentle warm-up hike to nearby villages before settling into a cozy guesthouse for the night.
The second day takes you on a scenic trek through high mountain paths and past the Chamharouch shrine, before reaching the basecamp refuge. Here, you’ll enjoy hearty meals and mountain hospitality as you prepare for the climb.
Day three is the highlight of the trip the Mount Toubkal summit. The climb takes around three hours and rewards you with sweeping views across the Atlas range and even the Sahara on a clear day. After celebrating at the top, you’ll descend to the refuge for a well-deserved rest.
On the fourth day, you’ll ascend Ras n’Ouankrim (4,068 m), another beautiful peak in the Toubkal range. Though less famous, it offers equally stunning views and adds to the adventure.
The final day sees you descend back to Imlil, where you’ll enjoy a farewell lunch before your transfer to Marrakech.

Your adventure begins with a 1h30 drive from Marrakech to Imlil Valley (1,740 m). Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local guide and check into a guesthouse. After settling in, enjoy a short guided hike through nearby Berber villages, stopping for an outdoor lunch. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (1h30 drive + 2h walk
After breakfast, begin your trek toward the basecamp. The trail passes through Chamharouch shrine before ascending steadily toward the refuge. You’ll stop for lunch along the way and continue to the mountain hut where you’ll spend the night. (5–6h walk)
Today is the highlight of your trek. After an early breakfast, start the climb to Mount Toubkal summit (4,167 m). The ascent takes around 3 hours, rewarding you with breathtaking views across the High Atlas and surrounding peaks. After a short break at the summit, descend the same route back to the refuge for lunch and overnight. (3h up + 3h down)
Fuel up with breakfast before tackling Ras n’Ouankrim (4,068 m), another impressive peak in the Toubkal range. The climb is slightly technical in sections but very rewarding, offering spectacular panoramas from the top. After photos and a short break, descend to the basecamp for dinner and overnight stay. (6h walk)
After breakfast, trek back down via the same route to Imlil Valley. Enjoy a final lunch in the village before driving back to Marrakech. (4–5h walk + 1h30 drive)
