About This Tour

Discover the Sahara on a 3 Day Camel Trekking Morocco adventure with Sahara Vibe. We are a local nomadic family from southern Morocco.

First, travel into the desert near M’Hamid El Ghizlane. Here, you will meet your local camel team and join a traditional desert caravan. Then, begin exploring the Sahara on foot.

Your camels carry your luggage and camping equipment. As a result, you can walk comfortably without a heavy backpack.

3 Day Camel Trekking Morocco Experience

During the trek, cross golden dunes and open desert plains. Along the way, you will also walk through dry valleys and tamarisk landscapes. As a result, each part of the route offers a different view of the Sahara.

Meanwhile, your local team prepares fresh Moroccan meals. You can enjoy traditional mint tea throughout the journey. In addition, you may watch bread being baked in the hot desert sand.

In the evening, reach a quiet desert camp. Then, watch the sunset over the dunes. After dinner, gather around the campfire with your local team. You can enjoy traditional music and peaceful conversations under the stars.

At night, sleep in a comfortable desert tent. Alternatively, you can sleep outside beneath the clear Sahara sky.

Most importantly, this is more than a camel ride. It is a chance to slow down and disconnect from everyday life. Instead, you can follow the simple rhythm of desert travel with a local nomadic team.

Explore the Sahara by Camel

Moreover, this journey offers an authentic way to discover Morocco desert life. You will experience the landscape, food, traditions, and silence of the Sahara at a natural pace.

In addition, our camel trekking tours in Morocco are available in different durations. Depending on your chosen itinerary, you can spend several days crossing the desert with a local camel caravan.

For longer journeys, you can explore more remote landscapes and spend extra time in the peaceful Sahara. Therefore, you have more opportunities to enjoy desert walks, traditional meals, quiet evenings, and life around the camp.
