Traveling by 4×4, you’ll venture deep into Southern Morocco’s stunning desert landscapes — from the Atlas Mountains to remote oases and legendary dunes that few tourists ever reach.
This immersive tour gives you access to ancient kasbahs, lush palm groves, and the famous Draa Valley, all while experiencing the warm hospitality of local Berber communities. Erg Chigaga, one of the largest dune fields in Morocco, offers a truly wild Sahara experience
Early departure in a 4x4 towards the High Atlas and the Tichka Pass (2260 m), then passing through Ouarzazate and Agdez, with lunch en route. Continue towards Zagora via the Draa Valley (the valley of a thousand kasbahs). In the afternoon, head to M'Hamid and proceed into the desert to the Erg Lihoudi camp. Enjoy a walk and sunset view, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp.
Breakfast, then return to M'Hamid by camel (2 hours). Lunch in the heart of the palm grove. In the afternoon, depart for the Chigaga dunes, crossing 60 km of desert. Dinner and overnight at the camp at the foot of the dunes.
After breakfast in the desert, depart in a 4x4 to cross another 90 km of desert, passing by Lake Iriqui. Stop for lunch in the first village after the desert, Foum Zguid. Continue in the afternoon to Marrakech. Arrival in the late afternoon.
